Orange skin confit

Fill your Tet holiday with delicate slices of sweet orange confit. With a slice of pastry and tea, you can have a proper feast!

Ingredients: serves 2

  • 1 kg orange skin
  • 0.8 kg sugar

Method:

  • Cut the orange fruit into 4-6 pieces. Remove the skin and the white part.
  • Julienne the skin.
  • Cook the sliced skin in boiling water twice.
  • Wash again with cold water and let drain.
  • Mix skin with sugar.
  • Simmer over low heat until it becomes dry. Remove from heat and continue stirring for a few minutes.
