Midfielder Hải to captain Việt Nam in SEA Games

HÀ NỘI — Midfielder Nguyễn Quang Hải will take the armband for U22 Việt Nam at the upcoming SEA Games in the Philippines.

His two deputies are striker Nguyễn Tiến Linh and defender Đỗ Thanh Thịnh.

Hải is one of the most important players in Park Hang-seo's formation.

The skilful player wore the armband during the 2020 AFC U23 Championship qualification in March in Hà Nội.

SEA Games' football matches will begin on November 25.

Việt Nam will play Brunei in the first match in Group B. — VNS
