HÀ NỘI — The Go-Kart Formula Racing Việt Nam 2019-20 event is scheduled to be held at the Đại Nam race course in the southern province of Bình Dương in May.
It is the first time the event has been held in the country.
The event will have categories for both professional and amateur racers.
The event’s first stage will begin on May 4-5 and the second leg will start on September 2. The third stage will open later this year, while the final stage will start in March next year.
“The event will have a format like the Formula One (F1) event with 30 teams. Each team will have three racers who will together compete in 120 minutes. We aim to create a professional, safe event for participants,” said Phan Hồng Sơn, director of NRCR Việt Nam Company, organiser of the event.
Việt Nam is organising the F1 for the first time next year in Hà Nội. The Formula Racing Việt Nam event offers racing lovers a chance to show their ability and skill. — VNS
