HÀ NỘI — Vietnam Airlines will run extra flights from Hà Nội, HCM City and Đà Nẵng to Kuala Lumpur and back on December 11 to serve fans of the national football team travelling to watch the first leg of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Cup final at Malaysia’s Bukit Jalil Stadium.
The carrier will add one or two flights on each route from the three major cities, allowing more than 1,100 extra passengers to travel from Việt Nam to Malaysia on the day of the match.
Vietnam Airlines said it would monitor the market situation and add more flights to meet demand if necessary.
The carrier will also co-operate with a number of travel companies to run a comprehensive tour on December 11 that contains a round-trip flight ticket, a ticket to the match, a tour guide and meals. — VNS
