Việt Nam’s top-flight player Lý Hoàng Nam is seeded No 1 at the Men’s Futures Vietnam F1 tennis tournament, which will be held from April 30 to May 6 in Huế.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s top-flight player Lý Hoàng Nam is seeded No 1 at the Men’s Futures Vietnam F1 tennis tournament, which will be held from April 30 to May 6 in Huế.

Nam is world No 458, the highest ranking athlete among 68 participants from 21 countries and territories.

Other high-ranking players are Russian Kristian Lozan, No 595, Thai Pruchya Isaro, No 741, and Japanese Jumpei Yamasaki, No 816.

They are all regular faces at the Vietnam Futures events.

Apart from Nam, other competitors from Vietnam are Trịnh Linh Giang, Phạm Minh Tuấn, Nguyễn Văn Phương, Nguyễn Đắc Tiến, Vũ Artem and Lê Quốc Khánh.

The F2 and F3 tournaments will also be held in Huế, following the F1 competition.

A total of US$15,000 each event will be given to players based on their results. — VNS
