HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam triumphed at the International Dragon and Lion Dance Festival which concluded in Singapore on Saturday.

The event featured 12 teams from seven nations and territories such as Hong Kong, Malaysia and the hosts.

Last year, Việt Nam won the same event held in Singapore which saw 14 troupes from nine countries and territories vying for top honours.

Lion dance is a traditional art form which celebrates prosperity and good fortune in celebration of the Lunar New Year. It is the third time the Vietnamese team have entered the international competition. — VNS
