HÀ NỘI — The Việt Nam Basketball Association (VBA) is recruiting Vietnamese heritage players for the 2018 season.
The 2017 season was a successful one for VBA, with their spectacular games during the regular season, thrilling Finals and a championship for the rookie. These were possible partly due to the contribution of heritage players such as Vincent Nguyen of Hanoi Buffaloes, Justin Young of the champion Thang Long Warriors, and Tâm Đinh and Sang Đinh of Cantho Catfish, among others.
They have not only become the star of their team, but also sports idols and inspiration for the youth.
The process to look for new players this season has already begun, and VBA hopes to lure more talented players to compete in Việt Nam.
Athletes who are interested in taking part in professional basketball can submit personal information and videos on the VBA website until January 26.
