Vietnamese Lý Hoàng Nam is ranked No 5 at the Vietnam F1 Futures tennis tournament, which will begin on November 6 in Bình Dương Province.

HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese Lý Hoàng Nam is ranked No 5 at the Vietnam F1 Futures tennis tournament, which will begin on November 6 in Bình Dương Province.

The No 1 player is Chen Ti of Chinese Taipei, who is also the world’s No 323. 

Enzo Couacaud of France is No 2 and Wang Chuhan of China is No 3.

Nam, whose world ranking was down four steps to No 546 on Monday, is the only athlete from Việt Nam in the main round.

Six other Vietnamese players are in the reserve list.

The US$15,000 tournament is being organised on the hard court at the Thủ Dầu Một City’s Community Sports Centre with singles and doubles events. The finals are scheduled for November 12. — VNS
