Việt Nam lose first friendly match in China

Việt Nam lost 1-3 to Croatia in their first match of the Chinese Football Association International Futsal Tournament yesterday in Changshu City, Jiangshu Province.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam lost 1-3 to Croatia in their first match of the Chinese Football Association International Futsal Tournament yesterday in Changshu City, Jiangshu Province.

The Vietnamese made it equal in the first half of the match but they could not maintain their performance against the World No 13 in the second.

Captain Trần Văn Vũ scored the only goal for Việt Nam. Among three goals for the Croatian side, one was an own goal by Vietnamese Khổng Đình Hưng who tried to saved his net.

Việt Nam will have the second game today against the hosts who lost to the Netherlands in an earlier game of the day. — VNS
