HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam secured one silver medal on the last day of the Asian Canoe Sprint Championships on Wednesday in Shanghai, China.

The world junior champion Trương Thị Phương finished second in the women’s C1 500m event with a time of two minutes, 10.04sec.

It was her third medal at the tournament after her two bronzes in the K4 200m and K2 500m events on Tuesday.

The three-day competition saw Kazakhstan come out on top with 15 golds. China took second with nine titles. — VNS
