HÀ NỘI — Thai referees will manage the match between Việt Nam and Cambodia in the qualifying round of the Asian Cup 2019 to be held at the Mỹ Đình National Stadium tomorrow.

This was announced by the Việt Nam Football Federation.

They are main referee Mongkolchai Pechsri and assistants Pudom Sivakorn, Preeda Binla and Anuwat.

Mongkolchai is a FIFA-level referee, and has officiated matches in Thai football league matches, alongside Chinese Super League, and many Asia Football Federation games.

He is familiar with the Vietnamese football scene. He took charge in the clash between Bình Dương and FLC Thanh Hóa in the 23rd round in the 2016 V.League, besides the V.League playoff between Long An and Viettel.

Mongkolchai refereed the friendly football match between Việt Nam and North Korea at the Thống Nhất Stadium last year.

The 35-year-old also officiated at the 2014 AFF U-19 championship in Việt Nam.

The upcoming match will take place at 7pm. — VNS
