HÀ NỘI — Nguyễn Tấn Hoài took the lead in the fourth stage of the Return to Trường Sơn Cycling Tournament yesterday.

Hoài, of Domesco Pharmacy Đồng Tháp, completed the 150km stage from Hà Tĩnh to Đồng Hới City with a time of 3: 39.26 and an average speed of 41.014kmh.

He was followed by Nguyễn Thành Tâm of Gạo Hạt Ngọc Trời and Lê Văn Duẩn of VUS-HCM City.

The event’s yellow jersey stayd with Nguyễn Cường Khang of the HCM City Youth squad. He completed four stages with the best overall time of 12:0.39.

The green jersey for the best sprinter went to Lê Nguyệt Minh of VUS-HCM City with 68 points.

An Giang Plant Protection tops the team’s rankings with an overall time of 36:03.38.

The cyclists will start the fifth 126km-stage today, from Đồng Hới City to the Trường Sơn National Martyrs’ Cemetery in Quảng Trị Province. — VNS
