HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam Mineral and Coal beat HCM City 2 2-0 in the second leg of the National Women’s Football Tournament at Thống Nhất Stadium in HCM City on May 14.
Just two minutes after the referee blew his whistle, Phạm Thị Hằng opened the score for northern team Việt Nam Mineral and Coal.
After receiving a pass from Thúy Hằng, Trần Thị Thu doubled the score to 2-0 for the northern team in the 19th minute.
In the 43rd minute, the guests got an opportunity to raise their score from the penalty area, but Nguyễn Thị Hạnh did not shoot successfully.
Following the break, HCM City 2 made every effort to narrow the gap but failed.
In another match, HCM City 1 crushed Sơn La 3-0.
