ĐÀ NẴNG  — Mầu Tiến Đạt from Vĩnh Phúc beat Nguyễn Tuấn Hưng of Public Security team 7-4 in the under-12 division of the National Men’s Tennis Championship at Đà Nẵng’s Public Security court yesterday.

Phạm Phú Lộc beat his teammate Nguyễn Minh Thiên 7-1 in the all Bình Dương match yesterday, while Nguyễn Minh Phát of HCM City cruised to a 7-0 win over Nguyễn Đại Khánh of Bình Dương.

Hanoian Bùi Tuấn Kiên edged out Trần Minh Quân from Vĩnh Phúc 7-5, while Phạm La Hoàng Anh of Hà Nội beat his teammate Nguyễn Hiếu Minh 7-3.

In the men’s over-18 singles, Lê Khắc Tùng Lâm of Đà Nẵng beat Trần Văn Hòa of Public Security 6-0, 6-2 in the opening match yesterday.

Lê Minh of Public Security beat Võ Văn Toàn of Đà Nẵng 6-1, 6-4, while Triệu Hoàng Hiếu took a 6-7, 7-5, 6-4 win over Lê Công Tiễn in the all-Army match.

HCM City’s Trần Trường Giang had an easy win 6-1, 6-1 against Lê Minh Tuấn of Public Security.

Trần Hoàng Anh Khoa of Army won 6-1, 6-0 Nguyễn Văn Anh Tuấn of Vĩnh Phúc.

The annual tournament has drawn 170 athletes from 13 teams competing in singles and doubles from U12 to over-18 groups.

The tournament will finish on April 23. — VNS
