Kỳ wins 4th stage of Bến Tre Television event

Young cyclist Nguyễn Huỳnh Kỳ of HCM City’s youth crew won the Bến Tre Television Cycling Tournament’s fourth stage from Đồng Nai Province to Bình Phước Province over 113km yesterday.

BÌNH PHƯỚC — Young cyclist Nguyễn Huỳnh Kỳ of HCM City’s youth crew won the Bến Tre Television Cycling Tournament’s fourth stage from Đồng Nai Province to Bình Phước Province over 113km yesterday.

Kỳ took his first stage win after 2hr 56.08min, just three seconds ahead of runner-up Phạm Quốc Cường of Dogarlic Đồng Tháp. Hà Kiều Tấn Đại of Đại Nam Bình Dương finished third.

Yellow jersey holder Lê Nguyệt Minh of Mathnasium HCM City did not finish on the podium but maintained his overall lead with a total time of 11:47.56.

He also topped the green jersey race with 52 points.

In the team ranking, An Giang lead on 35:27.20. Hạt Ngọc Trời and Domesco Đồng Tháp are second and third, respectively.

The fifth stage is 10 laps around Đồng Xoài Town of Bình Phước Province, spanning 50km. — VNS
