HÀ NỘI — Sông Lam Nghệ An (SLNA) have signed contracts with two foreign footballers to prepare for the V.League 1’s 2017 tournament.

The two acquisitions are striker Olaha Michael of Nigeria and Henry Shackiel of Trinidad & Tobago.

The youngster Michael competed for Abia Warriors the Nigeria Professional Football League, while Shackiel scored 12 goals for Point Fortin and W Connection club in the Trinidad and Tobago professional league.

SLNA will meet FLC Thanh Hóa in the first round of the national premier league in the central province of Thanh Hóa on Sunday.

At the league last year, SLNA ranked 11th out of 14 teams with 34 points. — VNS
