HÀ NỘI — Five Vietnamese will attend a hockey coaching course in Singapore on December 8-12 to become Việt Nam’s first hockey coaches.

They are Lưu Phan Lập Lương, Huỳnh Đại Phúc, Nguyễn Lê Quang, Lý Kim Long and Nguyễn Lâm Phúc.

"For the first time in the history, we will have our own qualified Vietnamese hockey coaches to train more hockey coaches to develop it in Việt Nam. This is an important step for the growth of Việt Nam hockey," said James Chew, CEO of the Việt Nam Hockey Federation.

The course is accredited by the Asian Hockey Federation and the International Hockey Federation.
