Hà Nội 1, HCM City 1 in semi-final

HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội 1 and HCM City 1 reached a tie on Tuesday following a goaless match in HCM City, following which both entered the semi-final round of the National Women’s Football Championship.

After 14 matches, Hà Nội 1 is on top with 36 points. HCM City is second with 33.

The two other teams competing in the championship are Phong Phú Hà Nam, ranked third with 33 points, and who defeated Hà Nội 2 8-0 in an earlier match on Tuesday at the Thống Nhất Stadium.

Việt Nam Coal and Minerals are at the fourth position with 22 points. They will play Hà Nội 1 in the last four-stage match; while HCM City 1 will face Phong Phú Hà Nam.

The teams will get one day of rest before returning to action. — VNS
