HÀ NỘI — Defending champions HCM City 1 defeated Thái Nguyên 4-0 in the 12th round match of the National Women’s Football Championships at Thống Nhất Stadium in HCM City yesterday.

With the support of fans on their home turf, HCM City completely dominated the match from the first minute of playing.

Nguyễn Thị Bích Thùy opened the scoring for HCM City in the 17th minute, while Huỳnh Như scored a hat trick in the 46th , 47th and 76th minutes.

Today, Việt Nam Coal and Mineral will meet Hà Nội 1 and HCM City 2 faces Hà Nội 2. — VNS
