Duẩn wins green jersey in final stage, Trung triumphs the cycling race

HÀ NỘI — Lê Văn Duẩn won the final stage of the VTV International Cycling Tournament - Ton Hoa Sen Cup 2016 yesterday in Hà Nội.
The cyclist, representing the Vietnam US Society English Centre, came from behind to take the green jersey as best sprinter, while the yellow jersey went to Võ Phú Trung of An Giang, who won in an earlier stage.
Duẩn was not always in the lead group during the 51km, 30-lap race around Hoàn Kiếm Lake, but he succeeded in a rapid sprint to win points in three marked positions, including the finish line.
He was followed by Nguyễn Thành Tâm and Lê Nguyệt Minh.
Trương Nguyễn Duy Nhân grabbed the white jersey as the best young rider.
In the team ranking, Domesco Đồng Tháp is on top, while An Giang came in second, with third place going to the Vietnam US Society English Centre.

The cyclists competed through 10 stages from Da Nang to Hanoi.— VN
