Viet Nam News Football HÀ NỘI — All eyes will be on the match between Hải Phòng and Thanh Hóa at Lạch Tray Stadium in the northern port city of Hải Phòng in the 22nd round of the V.League 1 tomorrow.

Hải Phòng top the table with 40 points, followed by SHB Đà Nẵng three behind on 37 points. The pacesetters’ opponents Thanh Hóa sit in fifth, on 34 points.

Hải Phòng has their two foreign strikers Errol Stevens and Andre Fagan available for selection again tomorrow, with their suspension for sarcastically bowing to referee Võ Minh Trí in the 18th round having expired.

Thanh Hóa are without a win in their last three matches and to make matters worse, technical director Lê Thụy Hải has resigned, with the club citing medical reasons.

Coach Hoàng Thanh Tùng, who replaced Hải, said Thanh Hóa still aim to win the league for the first time this year.

Tùng said he will stabilise morale and encourage a fighting spirit so his team can claim all three points.
