Viet Nam News Football HÀ NỘI — Hải Phòng will face Bình Dương without two key players in the 19th round of V.League 1 action tomorrow. Andre Diego Fagan and Anthony Stevens have been banned for three matches and fined VNĐ10 million each after sarcastically bowing to referee Võ Minh Trí after Stevens had been sent off in the match with Quảng Ninh Coal in the 18th round.

According to coach Trương Việt Hoàng, Fagan and Stevens’ absence will be a great loss for his team as the two players have scored 12 goals for Hải Phòng this season.

Hoàng has plenty to be worried about, as in their last seven recent matches Hải Phòng has only one win, three draws and three losses.

Defending champions Bình Dương, who won their fourth title last season, will be looking for three points.

Hải Phòng is second in the 14-team league on 34 points, while Bình Dương is ninth with 24 points.

The weekend’s other big fixture sees league leaders SHB Đà Nẵng take on Hà Nội T&T. Both teams are chasing the title this season, with Đà Nẵng topping the table over Hải Phòng on goal difference and the capital side not far behind in fifth place on 32 points.

In other fixtures, FLC Thanh Hóa will play Hoàng Anh Gia Lai who are fighting to avoid relegation. Thanh Hóa are third in the table with 33 points and will be hoping to finish the round on top of the table.

Elsewhere, Long An meet Sông Lam Nghệ An, Quảng Nam face Cần Thơ and Đồng Tháp play Quảng Ninh Coal. — VNS
