HÀ NỘI — Phạm Thị Thuý Liên took her first stage win at the National Women’s Open Cycling Tournament yesterday and jumps to the second place on the overall ranking.

Liên of VUS HCM City completed the 110km fourth stage from Bình Chánh District, HCM City to Trà Vinh Province with a time of 3hr 32.33min.

She left Phạm Hồng Loan of Biwase Bình Dương and và Phang Grace of Indonesia far behind.

Yellow jersey holder Nguyễn Thị Thật of Hạt Ngọc Trời finished in fifth position but maintains her top place in the rankings.

South Korea are still on top of the team ranking.

The fifth stage will see athletes cycling from Trà Vinh to Cần Thơ City over a distance of 101km. — VNS
