HÀ NỘI – The National Women’s Open Cycling Tournament for the An Giang Television Cup is scheduled to kick off on Sunday.

The tournament will attract the participation of 13 domestic and foreign teams, including Hạt Ngọc Trời An Giang, BVTV An Giang, South Korea’s Seoul cycling team, Indonesia’s customs cycling club, and Thailand’s team.

The annual bicycle race consists of six stages covering 532km. It passes through cities and provinces such as Đắk Nông, Bình Phước, Bình Dương, HCM City and Long An and finishes in An Giang province.

The event will run until July 15.

The six-day event provides a good opportunity for female Vietnamese cyclists to gain skills and experience for coming tournaments. — VNS
