Quảng Ninh Coal are aiming to break the national premier league’s top three this season, despite the team ranking sixth after 11 rounds, according to coach Phan Thanh Hùng.

HÀ NỘI — Quảng Ninh Coal are aiming to break the national premier league’s top three this season, despite the team ranking sixth after 11 rounds, according to coach Phan Thanh Hùng.

With five wins, two draws and four losses, Quảng Ninh have 17 points and 11 points behind leaders Hải Phòng. Bình Dương and Thanh Hóa share second place on 19 points.

Hùng said the team have several foreign footballers on trial.

In the next round on Sunday, the team will meet Becamex Bình Dương. — VNS
