HÀ NỘI -- Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Rich “Ace" Franklin will have a martial arts exchange in HCM City on May 21.

The 41-year-old Franklin, who is vice president of Asian Mixed Martial Arts company One Championship, won the middleweight title in 2005.

With his "dashing" fighting style, he beat famous mixed martial artists Evan Tanner at the UFC 42, Edwin Dewees at the UFC 44 and Jorge Rivera at the UFC 50.

Franklin also beat former UFC champion Ken Shamrock in the Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale in 2005 via a knockout punch, a feat no one else had managed up to that point in Shamrock’s career.

During the trip to Việt Nam, Franklin will host a training session for fans and will share his martial arts experience. – VNS
