Liên Việt Postbank won the last berth for the VTV Bình Điền Volleyball Cup’s semi-final round yesterday.
Liên Việt Postbank came from behind to beat Vietinbank 16-25, 18-25, 27-25, 25-20, 16-14 in the last Group B round match at the Ninh Bình Province Gymnasium.
The other berth went to Vietinbank.
Meanwhile, Bình Điền Long An struggled to enter the semi-final round of the Cup on Wednesday.
Bình Điền Long An defeated Thailand’s national youth team 25-18, 25-16, 25-23, 27-25 to secure the second ticket from Group A to the knockout stage of the annual tournament.
The other ticket went to Jiangshu Club of China, who topped the group with three wins from three matches. – VNS
