Quyết out of national team training course

Midfielder Nguyễn Văn Quyết has been cut from the national team’s March summons, according to the Việt Nam Football Federation (VFF).

The VFF yesterday released an announcement citing Quyết’s poor behavior during the V.League’s fourth round match between his team, Hà Nội T&T, and Sanna Khánh Hòa on Saturday.

Quyết was one of several players who did not agree with a decision by referee Hoảng Phạm Công Khanh. He pushed Khanh, who fell, and received a red card.

On the field, Quyết continued to show a disrespectful attitude towards Khanh’s decision.

As result, Quyết will not practice with the national team, who will then compete against Chinese Taipei and Iraq during their 2018 World Cup qualifier later this month. — VNS
