HCM City -- Striker Nguyễn Công Phượng of Hoàng Anh Gia Lai has won the first-ever “Most favourite footballers 2015″ award launched by the HCM City Police Newspaper via its website binhchon.congan.com.vn.

Phượng’s teammates Nguyễn Tuấn Anh and Lương Xuân Trường are in second and third place, respectively.

Other top 10 players include Võ Huy Toàn of SHB Đà Nẵng, Đỗ Duy Mạnh of Hà Nội T&T, Trần Nguyên Mạnh of Sông Lam Nghệ An and Lê Công Vinh of Becamex Bình Dương..

The top three winners will get certificates and VNĐ100 million (US$4,350), VNĐ30 million ($1,300) and VNĐ20 million ($870), respectively. – VNS
