Update: December, 14/2015 - 08:25

Saigon Heat lose 60-62 to Singapore Slingers.

SAI GON (VNS) — Saigon Heat suffered another defeat in the ASEAN Basketball League after losing 60-62 to Singapore Slingers on Saturday on home turf at the HCM City's CIS Stadium.

In a low-scoring defensive battle, the Slingers were able to make crucial stops at the death to hold off the Heat.

"We're really young, they're very experienced," Saigon Heat coach Anthony Garbelotto said on the league website after the game.

"They (Singapore Slingers) made the right plays. They've been in that situation so many times."

"This is a learning process," Gabelotto pointed out.

As Saigon drops to 2-5, they hope to get back on track when they face the Mono Vampire Basketball Club on December 18. The Singapore Slingers meanwhile remain in second place with a 7-2 slate. — VNS
