|Tipsarevic to compete in Viet Nam Open
HA NOI (VNS) — Former world tennis No 8 Janko Tipsarevic will compete in the coming Viet Nam Open.
The Serbian has grabbed a number of titles throughout his career, including winning four events of the ATP World Tour and nine ATP Challenger events.
The 31-year-old has twice beaten the current world No 1 Novak Djokovic. He also beat former No 1s Carlos Moya, Marat Safin, Lleyton Hewitt, Juan Carlos Ferrero and Andy Roddick.
His best Grand Slam results were at the quarter-finals of the US Open in 2011 and 2012.
He has just returned to competition after one year of rest because of an injury. He is now standing at No 393.
The Viet Nam Open is scheduled for October 10-18 at the Lan Anh Tennis Club in HCM City. — VNS
