HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's women's football team drew Chinese Taipei in a goalless friendly match on August 4 in Ha Nam Province.
Coach Norimatsu Takashi of Viet Nam said his players did not perform well in the match as their Taipei rivals had better physique and body form. He said a lot of work was needed to improve the team's performance.
It was the second match between the two sides in Viet Nam. Viet Nam won the first match 3-2.
The friendly matches were part of both teams' preparations for their second Olympics qualifying round in Myanmar next month.
