HA NOI (VNS) — The nation's top player, Nguyen Tien Minh, has returned to world top 20, according to the Badminton World Federation.
While Minh did not score any remarkable victories in international competitions in the last two months, he still maintained his 42.720 points, which are enough to place him at No 20 in the men's ranking.
Second, third and fourth positions went to Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia, Chen Long of China and Jan Jorgensen of Denmark.
On the women's side, the top player in Viet Nam, Vu Thi Trang, remains at No 50.
The world's best players are Li Xuerui, Wang Shixian and Wang Yihan of China. — VNS
