Victory for Da Nang gives them place in last eight

DA NANG (VNS) — SHB Da Nang defeated Dong Thap 5-3 in the last-eight round of the National Cup yesterday.

Ho Ngoc Thang scored a hattrick while Duy Lam and Huynh Quoc Anh grabbed a goal each.

Dong Thao narrowed the score following a penalty from Nguyen Thanh Hien and a header from Minh Loi.

In other matches, Ha Noi T&T lost 3-5 to Dak Lak after a penalty shootout, Hoang Anh Gia Lai beat Dong Nai 5-1, and Quang Ninh Coal overcame Khanh Hoa 2-1. — VNS
