Cuong ousted from Asian badminton championships

HA NOI (VNS) — Vietnamese player Pham Cao Cuong was ousted from the Badminton Asia Championships in South Korea yesterday.

Cuong lost to former world No 1 Lin Dan of China 21-13, 21-4 in the men's singles second round.

In the men's doubles, the duo of Duong Bao Duc and Nguyen Hoang Nam lost to Shi Longfei and Chen Zhuofu of China 21-17, 21-13. — VNS
