Thanh wins gold at Incheon competition

HA NOI (VNS) — Vietnamese gymnast Phan Thi Ha Thanh won a gold medal at the Korea World Top 2014 competition in Incheon, South Korea, yesterday.

Thanh, an outstanding athlete from the northern port city of Hai Phong, earned 14,225 points in the women's vault event.

Last month, she took a bronze medal in the same event at the 7th FIG World Challenge Cup in Doha, Qatar.

She now aims to bag an Asian Games gold medal at Incheon in September.— VNS
