Vietnamese players to participate in AFF's charity match

HA NOI (VNS) — The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has listed three Vietnamese players in the regional star team who will take part in a charity match in May in Indonesia.

Coach Radojko Avramovic, who is presently in charge of the Myanmar national team, will select 20 players, including three from Viet Nam. The names of the selected players will be released by mid-April after consulting with member federations.

The money raised from the charity match will be used to support the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, following a request by the Filipino football governing agency. — VNS
