Nam advances in Costa Rica

Viet Nam's No 4 seeded Ly Hoang Nam has advanced to the second round of the Coffee Bowl tennis tournament in Costa Rica.

Number 4 seed Nam trounced CRC Mauricio Arrea 6-0, 6-0 in the first round of the International Tennis Federation's 50th Coffee Bowl tournament in Costa Rica.

Nam dominated the match against his Costa Rican rival, winning three break points during the two sets.

He will next meet Robert Levine of the US, who won 6-2, 6-0 over Mexican Santiago Suarez. — VNS
