QUANG NINH (VNS)— Team Vu Do Hieu and Ngo Anh Tam overcame 39 teams to win the Vietnam Rainforest Challenge race for all-terrain vehicles which ended on Thursday.

The team will be eligible to take part in RFC Malaysia in December.

In second place was Nguyen Ngoc Hai Trieu and Mervyn Lim from Malaysia. Mervyn has taken part in China and Sri Lanka challenges.

"Attended the Vietnam Challenge RFC at this level of experience and competition was a pleasure," Mervyn said.

RFC Malaysia founder Luis Wee said: "Most Vietnamese drivers are still relatively new to this 4x4 sports but I can see a lot of passion."

Vietnamese competitor Le Van said the event helped him get more experience and to learn organisation skills from the foreign experts. — VNS
