Update: May, 04/2013 - 08:21

HA NOI (VNS)– Sai Gon Heat yesterday lost 62-63 to Singapore Slingers in the 17th round of the ASEAN Basketball League in HCM City.

With two seconds left, Phillip Morrison made a free throw to help his current team, the Slingers, beat his former team at Tan Binh Stadium.

With this win, the Slingers are 7-12 – the same position as fourth seed Sports Rev Thailand Slammers. The Slingers could reclaim fourth position if they defeat Westports Malaysia Dragons on Sunday.

After their 13th defeat, Sai Gon Heat will be on the road on Wednesday to take on the Indonesia Warriors at Mahaka Square in Jakarta.
