Vietnamese team to compete in Fed Cup

HA NOI (VNS)– The Vietnamese women's tennis team will compete in the Fed Cup for the first time on February 4-10 in Kazakhstan.

The Fed Cup is the premier team competition in women's tennis, equivalent to the Davis Cup for men.

The team is Dai Trang, Ngoc Van, Phi Khanh and Tam Hao, all from HCM City.

They will compete in Group 2 alongside Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore and Turkmenistan. – VNS
