Two of Viet Nam's young volleyball teams will get opportunities to test their skills on the international stage next month.
The U18 women's team will take part in the 16th Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championship in Thailand on October 1-9.
There are 17 participants divided in four groups. Group A contains the hosts, Iran, New Zealand, Turkmenistan and Kuwait.
Viet Nam join Group B alongside No 1 seed and defending champions China, Mongolia and India. Group C includes No 2 seed South Korea, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka. And Group D comprises of No 3 seed Japan, Chinese Taipei, Australia and Malaysia.
From October 12-20, Viet Nam's U16 squad will compete against 13 other teams at the Asian Youth Girls' Volleyball Championship in China.
Viet Nam share Group A with China, Malaysia and Hong Kong.-VNS
