Sixty foreign projects back City’s education, training


HCM CITY — HCM City has attracted 61 foreign investment projects in education and training, according to the city’s Department of Planning and Investment.

These projects represent a total investment capital of US$3.582 billion. Significant projects included the $3.5 billion Viet Nam International University Township in HCM City, headed by Malaysia’s Berjaya Group; the $44.1 million Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University; and the $6.75 million ACG International School.

The Marine Education and Human Resources Center (UT-STC) and the English International School received investment capital of $3.75 million and $4.5 million, respectively. — VNS
