HA NOI – Low income house contracts will be terminated if beneficiaries don't move in within three months, following a recent decision by the Ha Noi People's Committee.
Also, purchasers will have to submit a commitment and photo of family members before signing a contract with low income house project developers.
These were among changes which followed the committee's revision of regulations covering the sale, hire, lease-to-purchase and management of housing for low income families.
Among other variations, potential buyers or lessees of low-income houses would need to have registration of permanent or temporary residence in districts of the city.
The tightening of the regulations was a result of increasing violations of low-income housing provisions. – VNS
