33 new COVID-19 community infections reported on Sunday evening

Thirty-three new locally-transmitted COVID-19 patients were reported on Sunday evening, including an eight-year-old girl in Hà Nội's Mê Linh District.

HÀ NỘI — Thirty-three new locally-transmitted COVID-19 patients were reported on Sunday evening, including an eight-year-old girl in Hà Nội's Mê Linh District.

The girl had contact with Patient 2142 who was put into quarantine on January 30. She tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday and is now being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Đông Anh District.

Of the remaining 32 patients, 31 are from Hải Dương and one from Hà Nội.

The cases from Hải Dương are linked to positive cases confirmed earlier in the province’s clusters and have been quarantined since the outbreak was detected. — VNS
