First four patients recover from new COVID-19 outbreak in Đà Nẵng

ĐÀ NẴNG — Four patients with COVID-19 have made a full recovery and were released from the treatment facility of the Đà Nẵng Lung Hospital in Đà Nẵng City on Monday morning.

The four patients include: Patient 423, Patient 424, Patient 442 from Đà Nẵng City and Patient 441 from Quảng Ngãi Province.

They are the first patients to recover among 242 COVID-19 patients being treated at medical facilities since Việt Nam reported the first COVID-19 community transmission case in Đà Nẵng City on July 25.

Dr. Lê Thanh Phúc, Director of Đà Nẵng Lung Hospital, said that Đà Nẵng Lung Hospital will arrange a car to bring patients home. These four patients will continue to be isolated and monitored locally and under the management of medical staff.

According to a report by the Đà Nẵng Department of Health, Đà Nẵng City is currently treating 242 patients with COVID-19, of which 58 are at the Đà Nẵng Lung Hospital and 184 at the Hòa Vang District Health Centre.

As of Monday morning, Việt Nam has confirmed a total 841 COVID-19 cases, including 317 imported cases and 13 deaths. — VNS
