HÀ NỘI — The People’s Committee of Hà Nội has approved a plan to build an ecological park of more than 15,000sq.m in Hoàng Mai District’s Vĩnh Hưng Ward.
Of the total 15,080sq.m, the land for traffic and parking area account for 12,148sq.m, including internal traffic, walkway and two parking areas, while 3,483sq.m of land is dedicated to a reception area and a square. It ensures the connection of infrastructure and in harmony with existing residential areas as well as new urban areas.
The Vĩnh Hưng Ecological Park project explores the advantages of natural resources, landscape of the area to form an ecological park, combining sports, leisure and entertainment activities which closely link with the surrounding environment, and helping push the socio-economic development of Hoàng Mai District.
The park is designed to be in harmony with the urban landscape and nature and ensuring sanitary requirements.
The approved plan will be the legal foundation for the implementation of the project in accordance with current regulation and for the management of local authorities.
The city has asked the Department of Planning and Architecture to inspect and certify the plan in conformity with the decision of the city’s People’s Committee.
In addition, the department will work with People’s Committee of Hoàng Mai District and Vĩnh Hưng Ward, and Vĩnh Hưng Investment and Urban Joint Stock Company, the investor, to publicise the plan for public comment. — VNS
