QUẢNG BÌNH — Quảng Bình Province Border Guard collaborated with Laos’ Khammouan Province Public Security Department to investigate five Laos nationals involved in trafficking 12,000 drug pills into Việt Nam on Monday.

On September 1, the anti-drug force under Quảng Bình Province Border Guard and Laos functional forces arrested three drug traffickers -- Sỏn Bút Tà Lạt (28 years old) and Nang Mi Xay Nhạ Lạt (22 years old) from Mahasay District, and Phon Ăng Thạ Lăng Sĩ (31 years old) from Boulapha District, Khammouan Province.

With the help of their testimonies, the functional forces on Monday arrested two more suspects -- Bun Thon Xuông Mọi Nị (45 years old) from Kounkham District and Lin Xay Nhạ Xẻng (48 years old) from Hinboun District, Khammouan Province.

Quảng Bình Province functional forces are expanding the investigation to complete the case report before handing it over to Laos’ functional forces. — VNS
