An official tests the equipment at the Tổng Cáng water supply station in southern Sóc Trăng Province’s Trần Đề District. Launched yesterday, it is the first station in the province to use reverse osmosis (RO) water purification technology. It was built at a total cost of VNĐ5.9 billion (US$260,000), with total capacity of 240cu.m per day. The total length of its water supply pipe is 7,400m, able to provide purified water for 410 households in the district.
