Vietnamese leaders condole with India over train accident

Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc yesterday sent condolences to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi over the loss of lives in the derailment of a train in Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh state.

HÀ NỘI – Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc yesterday sent condolences to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi over the loss of lives in the derailment of a train in Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh state.

The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Phạm Bình Minh also extended his sympathy to Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj.

The accident occurred on Sunday, killing at least 146 passengers and injuring more than 200 others. — VNS
